INTOUCH-ICT Project which aims to improve the non-routine skills of ICT SMEs’ business professionals was completed successfully. The Project’s final conference was organized by Enocta with the support of TAGES on the 15th of September 2015 in Nişantaşı Sofa Hotel. During the conference the project outputs were shared to the conference attendees.
INTOUCH-ICT Project which was launched in November 2013 is coming to an end and it will end at the end of October 2015. As a launching and project closure event, final conference held in Istanbul Nisantasi Sofa Hotel on September 15th, 2015 and all the project partners (Enocta, TBV, OKAN University, CFL, Sapienza Innovazione and Trebag) and around 70 SME representatives in Turkey attended to the conference. During the conference, the project outputs were shared to the attendees.
The conference started with the opening speech of Ahmet Hancer, CEO of Enocta. He talked about INTOUCH-ICT Project’s benefits to the SMEs and business world. In his speech he emphasized the importance of enjoyable and thus long lasting learning processes with the help of games and gamification as they become dynamic and interactive tools for learning. Aslihan Kagnici, Projects Consultant of TAGES, pointed out the aims of the project and the results of the project.
The conference continued with the presentations of Seda Cakmak, Projects Coordinator of TBV, Anna Linda Orosz, Project Manager of Trebag and Alfredo Imbellone, Researcher and e-Learning Project Manager of Sapienza Innovazione. The approach of INTOUCH-ICT attracted attention of the conference participants and most of them stated that the m-learning kit could be very useful to improve their non-routine skills.
A panel which addressed the importance and the place of games in the learning process was also a part of the final conference. Idil Denizciler Dinc, ENOCTA Business Development Group Director was the moderator of the panel and the speakers were Hakan Dervis Kocak, Vodafone Education Technology Manager, Tarkan Gurbuz, instructor at METU and GDLN Eurasia Regional Representative, and Basak Guvenc, founding partner of Pixof.
The main outputs of the project are the m-learning kit including 20 goal oriented situational m-learning lessons for ICT SMEs’ business professionals and e-HOW Platform an online platform where ICT employees will discuss their knowledge and experiences on the non-routine tasks.
