TALOS -Digital Entrepreneurship in STEM Education, enabled by Artificial Intelligence- Project has officially started its two-year journey on 1 September 2026. TALOS consortium officially came together for a two-day online kick-off meeting on 30 September and 1 October 2026. TAGES was represented by Leyla Arsan, CEO, Gonca Telli, board member, and Eda Telli, projects expert.

During the meeting, all Work Packages were outlined, giving consortium partners a shared understanding of the project’s objectives, planned activities, responsibilities, key milestones, and implementation approach. The discussions also enabled partners to align on the next steps and establish the basis for effective collaboration throughout the project.

With the kick-off completed, TALOS has now moved from preparation into implementation, and project activities are already underway across the different Work Packages.

Empowering STEM Entrepreneurship through AI

TALOS aims to strengthen the capacity of Higher Education Institutions to turn STEM education and research into innovative ventures and sustainable startup outcomes.

The project combines practice-oriented entrepreneurship education with AI-enabled digital tools supporting different stages of venture creation — from identifying opportunities and developing business models to market validation, financing readiness and investor preparation.

The project will engage students, researchers, academic staff and non-academic staff through a range of activities, including ideathons, hackathons, startup competitions, summer schools, mentoring and ecosystem-building activities.

TAGES contributes its expertise in technology development, innovation and industry collaboration to support TALOS’s innovation and entrepreneurship activities. TAGES supports the development and validation of technology-driven ideas and startup initiatives, helping students, researchers and entrepreneurs transform early-stage concepts into viable innovations through activities such as mentoring, ideation and startup support. TAGES also contributes to the project’s innovation and startup-related KPIs by supporting early-stage ideas and startup projects.

TALOS will also develop and deploy AI-enabled entrepreneurship support tools, together with collaboration and training platforms designed to support learning, mentoring, startup idea development, ecosystem engagement and knowledge sharing. The project addresses innovation opportunities across areas including fintech, envitech, agritech, healthtech, govtech and other deep-tech domains.

Through these activities, TALOS aims to create more structured and repeatable pathways for transforming STEM knowledge and research ideas into market-oriented innovations and AI-enabled ventures.

Looking Ahead

With the project now officially underway, the coming months will focus on putting the TALOS activities into practice and building the foundations for its training, digital tools, ecosystem activities and entrepreneurial support mechanisms.

We are looking forward to working closely with higher education institutions, students, researchers, entrepreneurs, industry partners and other innovation stakeholders throughout the project.

Stay tuned for more updates, activities and results from TALOS.

The project website and social media channels will be shared soon — keep in touch to follow the latest developments and opportunities to get involved.
