Trust4Future at DigiBus2025: Deep Tech Workshop on Blockchain and Digital Trust

On July 9, 2025, we proudly delivered a Trust4Future Workshop as part of the DigiBus2025 International School on Digital Innovation and Startup Entrepreneurship in Samos — an inspiring gathering of students, entrepreneurs, and researchers dedicated to shaping the future of digital innovation.

This workshop was part of the Trust4Future project’s dissemination activities, funded by the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative, which focuses on equipping participants with cutting-edge deep tech skills while promoting trust, ethics, and inclusivity in the digital realm.

Highlights of the Workshop

The session featured contributions from distinguished speakers and organizations, showcasing how interdisciplinary collaboration in deep tech fields such as blockchain, cybersecurity, and AI ethics can foster innovation:

• Dr. Eda Telli Yamamoto, Expert from TAGES introduced the Trust4Future project, highlighting its mission to develop next-generation talent with a strong focus on digital trust and deep tech entrepreneurship.

• Leyla Arsan, CEO of TAGES, shared insights about TAGES as a leverage organization supporting EU projects and discussed the critical role of consultancy and advisory services in driving impactful innovation.

• Representatives from Istanbul Blockchain Women (ISTBCW) emphasized the importance of inclusion and diversity in blockchain and deep tech ecosystems, showcasing their contributions to the course and a mentimeter test for the audience.

• Finally, Prof. Dr. Gonca Telli, Board Member at TAGES, conducted an interactive Digital Trust Workshop, engaging participants in thought-provoking discussions on why trust is a cornerstone of deep tech innovation and how entrepreneurs can integrate trust as a design principle in their solutions.

A Deep Tech Learning Experience

The workshop reflected the Trust4Future vision of blending hands-on learning, ethical leadership, and entrepreneurial mindset to empower students and professionals to become active contributors to a secure and inclusive digital future.

The program featured micro-credential-based learning modules, real-world case studies, and brainstorming sessions encouraging participants to reimagine trust as a competitive advantage in the digital economy.
